Brian Reeves

Mr. Reeves has been a choral director at Parkway North High School since the fall of 1996. Born in Des Moines, Iowa, he graduated with honors from Missouri State University, having sung under the direction of Dr. Guy Webb. He taught four years in Odessa, Missouri before coming to Parkway. He holds a masters degree from Lindenwood University and post graduate hours from Truman State Unversity.

Mr. Reeves is President-Elect for the Missouri Choral Director's Association. He sings with the St. Louis Chamber Chorus and is a parishioner and member of the choir at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Ladue. For ten years he worked at Congregation Shaare Emeth, Creve Coeur, directing and singing in professional, youth, and adult volunteer choirs. Mr Reeves lives in Maryland Heights with his lovely wife Stacy and two children Molly (5) and Henry (3).


Derrick Fox

Originally from Blytheville, Arkansas, Mr. Fox holds a Bachelors of Music Education from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. He was the choral director at MacArthur Junior High School in Jonesboro, Arkansas for four years. Mr. Fox received his Master of Music in Choral Conducting from the University of Missouri where he was a choral conducting student of Dr. R. Paul Crabb and a voice student of Mrs. Jo Ella Todd. Mr. Fox has been an adjudicator and clinician for regional and state choirs in Arkansas and Missouri. He also maintains an active singing career in the professional opera and musical theatre venue with performance engagements in New York, New Jersey, Arkansas, Tennessee and Missouri in such musicals as Ragtime, Bye, Bye Birdie, State Fair and Cats. Mr. Fox has also sung roles in the operas Carmen, Dido and Aeneas, Die Fledermaus, La Boheme and Porgy and Bess. Mr. Fox’s concert singing experience includes Ziesl’s Hebrew Requiem, Durufle’s Cum Jubilo, Bach’s Cantata Gott der Herr ist Sonn und Schild , Mozart’s Mass in C minor ,Vivaldi’s Magnificat, Schubert’s Mass in B-flat Major, and Bach’s Magnificat. He is ecstatic to be a part of the North High School Choral Faculty.
